bahh. havent been blogging or studying as i should. its the blardy christmas season so i cant focus. too many parties, too little time. MICROB HOW? =X

its such a wonderfully rainy season now. its only wonderful when im at home and peering out of the window enjoying the cool breeze and watching Singapore's version of snow, little droplets of rain instead of pretty white flakes dropping from the skies above. nevertheless, a slight drizzle doesnt seem that bad unless it starts to pour.

went to PS Palais after dinner with addie, rui and wei. the cakes are really quite nice but the desserts are, in my opinion, a tad exorbitant. okay. a tad and exorbitant are oxymoronic next to each other, but let me explain. on first thought its exorbitant cos a slice of cake is double digit and a cup of iced coffee is at least 7. yet the ambience and service really makes up for the ridiculously priced food and i guess in a way, makes the exorbitant not so exorbitant after all, hence "a tad".

weird logic. i know. but its me. =) and the times spent in Europe will be fond memories. addie! your photoframe sits on top of my room light. sounds weird but you've gotta see it to believe it. haha.

puyun's and charissa's house parties tonight. by a stroke of genius luck, charissa moved over to potong pasir, a few streets away. last time i used to take a bus down from potong pasir to bt timah to make it in time for mahjong. now, i dont even needa take a bus! ahh WONDERFUL. =D

i cant wait till christmas, let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!

on hindsight, maybe i should be pulling up my socks. havent been faring as decently as i expected in my recent spate of Commontests. not to say that my scores arent good, but i dont think im happy with whatever ive gotten. med school probably isnt supposed to be as easy as this, thus i think its time i put in more effort for my studies! ah. sux.

i think i shall cut my hair tmr. urgh. dunno if its a good idea. AH. i shall ponder on it tonight.

i planned to sleep at 12am really. but things kept me awake till now. and i feel that it was time well spent. in life, how often do you get a bud whom you can share your experinces without holding back? its hard definitely. but slowly we work our way to a level of comfort where we dont judge, but we play the role of a friend, a comforter, a listening ear.

as i listened, i genuinely felt sad. i didnt want all this to happen. but it was something that couldnt be helped. it wasnt entirely your fault. blame it on the naivete and inexperience. but that's just life. we learn and we move on.

little ding once told that there was nothing i could do, but to watch and just hope for the best. hoping wasnt enough. i should have done more. could i have done more? i dont really know. time heals all wounds and it'll get better soon.

all you need to do now is to focus on what's before you. the people in your life. in your direct circle, your closer ring of friends. these are the people whom you can trust and love. i've always believed in loving till i could love no more. that way at least i could tell others that i've given it my all, and my conscience would be clear.
